Species

The species browser allows the user to explore all species data published on Biodiversity Maps. Biodiversity Maps offers users a standardised browsing experience. Regardless of whether it's a dataset, species or survey you are searching for, the browsing experience is the same.

The main sections of the species browser are as follows:

  1. The filters section [A]. It is here that you build your query, or in other words, tell the system what species are of interest to you.
  2. The results table [B]. Here you can browse through the results of your query. You may also specify how many results you would like to see on each page.
