Map a species

Mapping a species is quick and easy!

1. Search for your species as outlined in the Search for a species section.
2. Navigate to your selected species page, see the View a species section for more details.
3. There are two ways to display a species on the live map. See the View a species section for more details.
   • Clicking on the Live Map link from either the terrestrial or the marine map on the species metadata page will take you to the live mapping page for that species.
   • Manually add the species to the live mapping page. See mapping for more detail.
